As Ellie surveys the strange surroundings, a buzzing grows loud: a
giant Dragonfly bursts through her semi-solid form! Dazed but
unhurt, Ellie watches the giant insect stagger away.
Sarah tries
to steer through the air to a safe landing. The roar of her
engines further terrifies a Road Hog survivor, who arrived just moments
earlier!
Thrown clear
of the car on landing, Chet uses his recently grown extra arms to climb
up to a vantage point. There, he finds a cryptic printout that
may give clues about those that came before. But before he can read it...
Giant pteranodons swoop down to attack! DW-40 looks up from an artifact he just found in the mud, in time to see a pteranodon ricochet off his tough shell.
Sarah runs the stunned pteranodon over for good measure.
But then the
S.L.A.P.R. appears in the sky, plummeting dangerously down.
Somehow, TALOS manages to catch it without breaking it!
But as soon as it lands, it reactivates, vanishing and taking TALOS with it!
A steady rain
of Road Hogs fall from the sky, crashing into trees and sliding down
hills as they try to recover from their traumatic journey.
The Boss Hog targets DW-40 with
his Grenade Launcher, scoring a perfect hit! But unfortunately
for him, the shell he fired is a toxic gas that has no effect on DW-40,
only on the Road Hogs!
The commotion
in the Jungle attracts an even greater threat: a massive Carnosaur
bursts out of the trees, ravaging the Road Hogs as they scatter into
the jungle...
How will the crew deal with this new threat?
