One by one, the crew fall to the ground, sliding and rolling to safety.
As Ellie surveys the strange surroundings, a buzzing grows loud: a
giant Dragonfly bursts through her semi-solid form! Dazed but
unhurt, Ellie watches the giant insect stagger away.
Sarah tries
to steer through the air to a safe landing. The roar of her
engines further terrifies a Road Hog survivor, who arrived just moments
earlier!
Thrown clear
of the car on landing, Chet uses his recently grown extra arms to climb
up to a vantage point. There, he finds a cryptic printout that
may give clues about those that came before. But before he can read it...
Giant pteranodons swoop down to attack! DW-40 looks up from an artifact he just found in the mud, in time to see a pteranodon ricochet off his tough shell.
Sarah runs the stunned pteranodon over for good measure.
But then the
S.L.A.P.R. appears in the sky, plummeting dangerously down.
Somehow, TALOS manages to catch it without breaking it!
But as soon as it lands, it reactivates, vanishing and taking TALOS with it!
A steady rain
of Road Hogs fall from the sky, crashing into trees and sliding down
hills as they try to recover from their traumatic journey.
The Boss Hog targets DW-40 with
his Grenade Launcher, scoring a perfect hit! But unfortunately
for him, the shell he fired is a toxic gas that has no effect on DW-40,
only on the Road Hogs!
The commotion
in the Jungle attracts an even greater threat: a massive Carnosaur
bursts out of the trees, ravaging the Road Hogs as they scatter into
the jungle...
How will the crew deal with this new threat?
Sarah brazenly chases the fleeing Road Hogs into the jungle along side the Carnosaur...
DW-40 detects
strange signals elsewhere, and the crew decide to investigate.
Ellie leaves a "Ghost-it note" for Sarah to follow.
The crew find
a crashed, abandoned... hover RV? It's like nothing any of them
has seen. The registration is from 1985... Could it have
come through a dimensional portal?
From nearby, the lights and sounds of the RV passengers: a hoverboarding team that are practicing their moves in a scrapped radar dish.
The boarders
talk amongst themselves. "Are you sure the arena is nearby?
I don't remember a jungle on the route." "Dude, just
chill, the Onstar repair guy is for sure coming to fix the RV."
Chet chooses this moment to reveal himself and DW-40. "FINALLY, repair dude's here. And get a load of this crazy towtruck!"
DW-40 and
Chet salvage the parts they need from the radar dish to repair the RV,
while the boarders- Jambo, Pixxi, Bragg, and Gin -wait.
No sooner is the RV fixed, when Carnosaurs burst from the jungle! "Oh dude, those animatronics are amazing!"
Before Chet can explain they are REAL, Ellie finally reveals herself, wiping out one beast with a psychic scream.
Chet
unsteadily mounts a spare hoverboard, hoping to lure the other beasts
away somehow. Bragg shouts "DUDE - Distraction!" and tosses Chet
a blaring Boombox.
Chet catches
the boombox, but slips off his board, which shoots into the jungle,
blaring boombox attached. The Carnosaurs pursue as Bragg's
rediculous tune plays.

DW-40 push-starts the RV, and uses his new rocket boosters to follow while everyone else scrambles aboard.
Following the
signal from earlier leads the party across the jungle. An
intact, but abandoned outpost appears amongst the trees...
