SHOOTING

ATTACKER rolls base dice plus these mods:.

  • +1 die for each Arsenal card
  • +1 die for each Tragedy blip
  • +1 die for each Revenge token on the target
  • -1 die for each stick of Range after the first (or the second for Artillery specialists).
  • -1 die for each Hit on the attacker
DEFENDER rolls base dice plus these mods:
  • +1 die if in Cover or within 1 stick of a Minoffski Field.  Point Blank range attacks ignore cover / Minoffski!
  • +1 die for a Shield card 
  • -1 die for each Hit on the defender


If  attacker WINS, they will do at least one HIT to the defending unit.
If  ATTACKER rolled MORE THAN ONE die that is HIGHER than the defender's highest die, they do a hit for EACH DIE that is higher!

MELEE

ATTACKER rolls base dice plus these mods :

  • +1 die for each Assault card (or Melee specialization- should be included in stat line)
  • +1 die for each Tragedy blip
  • +1 die for each Revenge token on the target
  • +1 die for Desperation (attacker has only 1 hit left)
  • -1 die for each Hit on the attacker
  • -1 die if transforming MS in MA mode.
DEFENDER rolls base dice plus these mods:
  • +1 for Assault card (or Melee specialization- should be included in stat line)
  • +1 for Shield card (but using this forfiets the defender's ability to damage the attacker if they win)
  • -1 die for each Hit on the defender
  • -1 die if transforming MS in MA mode.
If the attacker WINS, they will do at least one HIT to the defending unit.
If  ATTACKER rolled MORE THAN ONE die that is HIGHER than the defender's highest die, do a hit for EACH DIE that is higher!
If  DEFENDER rolled MORE THAN ONE die that is HIGHER than the defender's highest die, do a hit for EACH DIE that is higher!

  ACTIONS- A Unit can perform TWO actions each turn.

DESPERATION- When a unit is down to its last hit, it may roll +1 die when making melee attacks.
SACRIFICE- If a unit is about to be destroyed, an adjacent friendly unit may take all the damage from the attack instead!
REVENGE- When a unit is destroyed, mark the killing unit with a REVENGE marker.  Attacks against the marked unit are at +1 die until the marked unit takes Damage- then remove one marker / hit..
EARNING CREDIT- Earn 1 CREDIT for each point the destroyed unit was worth.  Also see Intel, Resources, and special scenarios.
BLIP COUNTERS- To FLIP a blip, a unit must TOUCH it as part of their MOVE. Flipping a blip ends the units move. Return to MS Era Rules
