Pump houses often rest on a solid concrete foundation, and can be found in nearly any environment.  The durable structures provide good cover in a skirmish.

Drainage sumps catch any overflow from the multiple check valves.  Layers of corrosion and residue buildup can be seen on many of the surfaces.

Pump Houses often form the core of an Imperial outpost, and are popular targets for raiders.  Protecting them from attack is a wise move.

Pump houses see infrequent service by the Mechanicus. Some have been converted into hideouts by hive gangers, mutants, or cultists, and need a good house cleaning from time to time.
