GORKA MORKA SCENERY

This scrapyard consists of a claw arm, a massive wrecking ball, and loads of scrap. A knotted rope replaces the more conventional ladder. Scrapes and dents were done with a Dremel and a rough, metal cutting bit. The junk is painted dark brown, washed with rust, and drybrushed with steel and brass. Even the dirt has tiny gears, washers, nuts and bolts, and bits of wire mixed in with some sand for that Junkyard look.

The Wrecks come in handy for representing bits of the 'Ulk in Gorka Morka games. The one on the left is made out of a feed cage from inside an old Laser Printer. The one on the right combines the housing for a TV picture tube, an old Space Shuttle model kit, and a Cylinder fan from an air cleaner for a sort of Turbine Engine look.
